SHEDRA
Designer with 7 years in clinical and pharmacy healthcare, now building digital products that serve real communities. I bring field experience most designers don't have — and it shows in the work.
— About
Seven years in healthcare taught me that design isn't decoration — it's the difference between a system people use and one they work around.
Hi, I'm Nambozo — a UX/UI and web designer with seven years of experience across clinical and pharmacy settings. I came to design through healthcare, not away from it: every project carries the thinking habits and user empathy built from years of working in high-stakes environments where poor UX has real consequences.
My practice sits at the intersection of systems thinking and craft. I design mobile apps, websites, and digital products with the same rigour I brought to clinical work — understanding the context, the constraints, and the real people using what gets built. I use Figma and Adobe for visual design, Webflow and VS Code for building, and Notion and Claude Code to think through and ship complex problems faster.
Right now I'm building a body of work grounded in East African contexts: healthcare staffing, pharmacy consulting, and specialty coffee from Mount Elgon. If you're working on something that matters and need a designer who has spent time in the field — let's talk.

How I approach design problems.
Discover
User interviews, field observation, desk research. Understand the real problem — especially the context most designers never see firsthand.
Define
Synthesising research into clear problem statements and flows. What are people actually trying to do, and what gets in the way?
Design
Low-fi wireframes through to high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. Fast iteration, every decision justified by evidence from the field.
Test & Refine
Usability testing with real users in context. The work isn't done until the people it's built for can use it without friction.
